Excavation K73This excavation followed on a geo resistivity survey and adjacent excavation which suggested a large infilled ditch running through this garden which slopes down towards Dark Hill Davington. Instead a variety of demolition materials form the former Davington Manor (demolished in the 1650s) were found along with a possible land drainage pipe.
